At Kid's Concept we believe in change and that small steps every day lead to something bigger.
Our work with sustainable materials began right from the start, when we chose to manufacture our toys and interior design in wood. A beautiful, renewable material that can last for generations.
As part of this, in 2020 we began working closely with our suppliers to gradually switch to FSC®-certified wood. Many of our partners were already certified, or were on their way to becoming so. Since then, all of our wood suppliers have become FSC-certified, which is something we see as an important shared responsibility. For us, it is now a given that new suppliers must also be FSC-certified in order for us to be able to cooperate.
In December 2020, we also received our own brand license, and we have since worked to increase the proportion of FSC-certified products every year. The goal is that all wood and paper in our products should come from responsible forestry. And we are almost there! We aim for 100% of our wood-based products to be FSC-certified in the coming years.
